Sourcing Native Plants & Seed

It can sometimes be a challenge to find sources of high-quality native plants.  Please consult the list below as a starting point for obtaining native plants. Please note that this list is not all-inclusive, and no suppliers are recommended over another.  If you would like your business added to the list or want to share a source you are aware of, please email us.
Spring sales- local:
  • Hamilton County SWCD Native Plant Kit Sale ​
  • Native Plants Unlimited - pre-orders and open sales in Fishers
  • Indiana Native Plant Society Plant Sale 
  • Hamilton County Master Gardener Association Spring Plant and Tree Sale - strong selection of labeled natives
  • Indy Urban Acres Native Plant Sale - pre-order full flats and open sales in May/June
  • Hamilton County Parks - Cool Creek Nature Center - Carmel, IN
    ​A variety of native flowers and grasses available, some trees/shrubs too. 
  • Pipe Creek Native Plants-Hamilton County grown natives in Sheridan

Fall sales:
The SWCD holds a fall native tree sale each year.
Orders are accepted July-August with pick up in late September or October.
