Jamie Davenport has a dual masters in public affairs and environmental science from Indiana University Bloomington. While at IU, she studied soil organic carbon as a climate strategy at COP28 in Dubai and spent a summer in Njawara, a Gambian village, learning about rural development and environmentally conscious agriculture. She also worked for the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Portugal to support the country's hosting of the UN Ocean's Conference.

As the Resilient Indiana technician, Jamie rotates between 6 counties and the regional NRCS tech team to provide support. Based out of Marion County, she also works with Hamilton, Madison, Hancock, Delaware, and Henry. Jamie looks forward to learning more about each of her counties and how she can best serve them - especially in bringing over ideas from her districts into others to improve each county’s successes.
