Mark McCauley
Resource Conservationist

mark.mccauley@hamiltoncounty.in.gov

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Purdue University and over 30 years experience in addressing natural resources concerns and conservation planning.  He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.

Claire Lane
Urban Conservationist

Claire has bachelors degrees in biology and history from Franklin College and completed her master of science in environmental science at Indiana University Bloomington. She has a professional certification in watershed management, a certificate in underwater resource management, is a master gardener, and a certified Green Infrastructure Practitioner.

Taylor Wilson
Urban Conservation Technician

Taylor has a bachelors degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management with a minor in Plant Biology from Ball State University with focuses on soil and ecology.

Diane Turner
Conservation Technician and Outreach Assistant

Diane has a master of science degree in Plant Pathology and a bachelors degree in horticulture from the University of Tennessee.  She has worked with agriculture and home gardening audiences for over 18 years with Purdue University and North Carolina State University.

Ginger Davis
Conservation Administrator
ginger.davis@hamiltoncounty.in.gov

Ginger has a masters degree in geology focused on hydrology, a masters degree in civil engineering from Norwich University, and a bachelors degree in geology from Indiana State University. Ginger has been working with natural resources for over 20 years including a period with DNR and many studies and monitoring of our resources. Ginger is a Licensed Professional Geologist and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.​

Kris Gertz
Office Coordinator

Kris has a bachelors degree in elementary education from Purdue University and a masters degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Kokomo.  She has worked with non-profit organizations for over 18 years and brings abundant organization skills to the Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District.
