Tool Loan Program

The purpose of the tool loan program is to make tools and resources available to help Hamilton County residents achieve their conservation goals.  The tools are able to be loaned out to Hamilton County residents for individual or group workdays on public or private lands in Hamilton County.
General Tool Loan Guidelines:
These tools are available to Hamilton County residents for use in Hamilton County.

Loan period
  • The standard loan period for most items is 10 days. You can select a shorter loan length through the myTurn system. We ask that you only reserve items for the shortest amount of time needed. You are welcome to return items early. If there is no conflicting reservation, you can also extend or renew your loan one time through the myTurn system. This can be done after half of your initial loan length has passed.
Reservations and extensions
  • You can reserve tools for future dates through the myTurn system.  This may be especially helpful for tools needed for group work days or planned project installations.
  • After 50% of your loan period has passed, you can extend your loan through the myTurn system if there are no conflicting upcoming reservations.
Late fees
  • You are required to have a credit card on file to complete a registration or check out.  Overdue items will start to accrue late fees of $5 per business day per item after a 2 day grace period.
