Taylor Wilson: New Urban Conservation Technician

Taylor Wilson has taken on the title of Urban Conservation Technician in place of Andrew Fritz. Taylor worked at the SWCD as the Conservation Technician and Outreach Assistant for 11 months before transitioning to this new position.  

Since beginning work as the Urban Conservation Technician in August, Taylor has been helping coordinate the Hamilton County Invasives Partnership (HIP), working as the Co-Chair of the HIP Technical Committee, attending site visits, and working on the SWCD urban agriculture programs such as the container garden program, produce donation to food pantries, and the annual cover crop give away.

Taylor has a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management with a minor in Plant Biology from Ball State University with focuses on soil and ecology.

In October Taylor came to do a site visit regarding questions I had about Habitual ponding In our yard - she provided me a concise report with doable recommendations that we have already started. She is thoroughly professional and I appreciated the opportunity to have our situation evaluated.
